Trenton Steen

Originally from Austin, Texas, Trenton Steen obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from The University of North Texas in 2010.  Trenton is a Licensed Private Investigator, Licensed Personal Protection Officer, Civil Process Server, Bounty Hunter, and owner of Steen Private Investigations and Trenton Security, where he trains level II, III and IV officers for the field. 

With 12 years of security expertise, he served as the Head of Security at Concord Church, located in South Dallas, for four years. In this role, he was responsible for training and consulting with various ministries within the church regarding safety procedures and protocol. With his passion for gun safety and self-defense growing, Trenton sought and succeeded in obtaining his Instructor certification within the NRA Gun Organization with proficiencies in pistol, shotgun and rifle, and founded his training school, Texas Gun Academy, where he specialized in women's license to carry and basic firearms courses. 

In 2019, Trenton decided to follow his desire to live out his purpose, to become an entrepreneur, and equip individuals with the skills to protect themselves. He resigned from his position at Concord Church and focused full time on training women on how to operate firearms proficiently. While Trenton dedicates most of his time training others, he also continually works on his craft by researching and attending various seminars on gun control, gun proficiencies, and instructor continuing education. He recently obtained his Glock Operators and Glock Armorers Certifications in February and August as well as completed the USCCA Certified Concealed Carry and Home Defensive Instructor Training in April of this year.

As the owner and sole lead instructor of Texas Gun Academy, Trenton teaches to sold out classes of 15 women or more weekly in Austin, Houston and Dallas Texas.
